JERILYN W. HEINOLD MPH Jerilyn Heinold MPH has worked in healthcare for over 25 years in positions as diverse as histologist, computer specialist, biostatistician, researcher, budget analyst, and healthcare educator. She was the Director of Education and Special Projects at the Massachusetts Health Data Consortium from 1999-2006. Previously, she was the Director of Operations and Consulting Services at the Veterans’ Health Administration’s Boston Development Center. Her HIT interests include health information privacy, EHRs, PHRs, e-prescribing, Behavioral Health IT and Health Information Exchange (HIE). She is the Director for the HISPC Multi-state Education & Consumer Engagement Collaborative and has led this national effort with a focus on the use of targeted populations and the development of literacy-controlled consumer materials. Ms. Heinold served as a School Board and Town Meeting member in Winchester, MA from 1992-2000. She has an MPH in Biostatistics from the Boston University School of Medicine and is on the adjunct faculty of the Boston University School of Public Health.
Ms. Stone has over 30 years management experience that addresses the healthcare industry's changing business processes and practices. Her expertise is project management and organizational integration of HIE initiatives including privacy and consent requirements. Since 2006, Ms. Stone has been serving as a Project Director for the MA-Health Information Security and Privacy Collaboration (HISPC) subcontract, most recently as Co-Chair of the Multi-State Disclosure and Patient Consent Collaborative. She was awarded these responsibilities following the completion of Project Direction for MA SHARE - MedsInfo-ED clinical data exchange pilot project. MA HISPC projects address policy and operational solutions to increase the interoperability of clinical data exchange. The focus has been to identify a standardized framework for consent management that will translate practice priorities into administrative and technical requirements. In addition, Ms. Stone provides benefit consulting through Crosby Benefit Systems for employers on medical coverage financing decisions as well as MA Health Reform compliance. She has held senior management positions at start-up and implementation roll-out for several New England HMOs, founded two healthcare consulting practices, and served as Executive Director of Central Massachusetts Health Partnership. Her expertise spans HMOs, healthcare associations, physician networks, hospitals, employers, and CMS managed care and health insurance initiatives. She provides a versatility of healthcare management consulting services that address solutions for the changing internal and external business environment. She has an M.B.A. in Health Care Administration from the City University of New York., Baruch College.
